Monday, 03-01-2010 / Months and Days

On Monday, my fellow and i taught they children the twelve months of the year, the seven days of the week in french. We also taught them seasons in french. I personally taught them months and days. As we usually do now, we divided the kids in four different groups. Among the kids that i had, only one did not pay attention and he was very distracted. I was little bit nervous because tried evrything to bring his attention on me but nothing worked. Ithink for those who paid attention, we worked well together. I.think that for the next class i hjust have to create one activity to capture the kids attention

This seems like you had a better week than the week before. Good job, since you guys have a tougher age group coming up with more interactive and funner activities must be a challenge to keep their attention compared to the older kids who can read, write very well. It seems from the blog postings that they are indeed learning though, keep up the fine work.

  2. Seems like you are having trouble with little kids but I thinks the one on one will be more appropriate the lesser the group is the more attention you will have since they are more younger than our student, I think they will be more interested if there are activities. You know little kids they love entertainment.

  3. I think more activity will definately work better. These young kids love physical activity so much more than when we just teach them. I agree that they are learning, even if sometimes we think they aren't!
